Monsieur O'Hara, should I take this to mean you crossed paths with him as well recently? Did you actively pursue him, or did he catch you off-guard as he did myself?
No pursuing. Blade and I were near the graveyard when we spotted something. I'll send you the photos I took. I picked up the new flowers in case it had a card with it but it was only tied together by bloody cloth.
[ as promised, there's a couple photos coming in: a grave with some burning candles, with rotting bouquets nearby. there's one fresh bouquet, filled with daisies. the headstone doesn't have a name anyone can make out, but there's an epitaph: 'death is only a shadow across the path to heaven.' ]
[ He studies the photos for a moment before answering– ]
That may be the identity of the one he has been seeking to revive. I do not know why he believes our deaths could be exchanged for that single one– if someone made such a promise to him or not. However, this grave can prove to be an effective lure in the near future.
That is a relief to learn. He does seem more reluctant to commit murders when he is outnumbered, likely because it would leave him too vulnerable even for a short while.
Did you receive any injuries that need tending, or have you both recovered sufficiently?
I am sure the transformation was an added boost to your chances of survivability. Would it be permissible for me to share all this information with Wriothesley? For some time, we both have been discussing how best to trap the murderer and if he is even capable of being permanently killed.
day 13.

Also... he didn't get to kill either of us. After fighting us for a bit, he threw the machete at me and then vanished.

He tried to divide his attention with crows, but it only worked so long while I was transformed.

One more thing– have you heard of any other recent encounters with him aside from my own and yours?

there is anything else I overlooked,
but your contribution has been very helpful.
Please continue to exercise care in all your future outings.
